⭐️ Video Notes:
You might not like what I'm about to say. But it can change the way that you dispute how you dispute and you might be able to actually get results. You see, if you do not understand the credit repair process, if you don't understand how this actually works, you are not going to see your collections fall off or your charge offs fall off, because you're going to give up before that in the Bureau's, the creditors and the collectors are going to win. So if you don't want them to win, if you do want to get results, then this is the video that you want to watch until the end, because I'm going to change your mind right now, that is a bold statement. But you and I need to get real here. First thing that you need to understand the Bureau's are not there to help you. You see in this conversation that I had with this person, she opened up my mind and my eyes to the fact that consumers think that the Bureau's are there to help them and to remove the negative items and, you know, basically assist them in getting a second chance to make a first impression. And obviously, that's not how it works. The real truth is that the Bureau's have a conflict of interest because they make money off of your lower credit scores, because it's more expensive, they sell it for more money, and the creditors are now going to charge a higher interest rate and make more money off, you're in inaccurate information, right? They, their job is to keep you subprime. Having said that maybe you understood that part. What does that have to do with mindset? Well, a really really convoluted thing to explain. But over here on the left, we have the Bureau's and on the right we have consumer and this is the way that it was easiest for me to break this down to explain. Okay, so over here, let's just start with number one, right? Let's say that you are a victim of identity theft, a true victim, not a fake victim, like, you know, the millions of other consumers who utilize the credit suite process that identity theft credit suite process when they weren't supposed to. But a real actual victim of identity theft, such as this lady was that I was speaking with earlier. Now, if you look at Section 605, B of the FCRA, it says that they the bureaus are required to delete your negative items within four business days after receiving your dispute. Now, does that actually happen? Right now post pandemic, beginning of March 2008. Do you does that happen? The answer to that is no. Why does that not happen? Well, huh. millions of consumers, like I said, utilize that when they weren't supposed to. And now when you're an actual victim of identity theft, or fraud, guess what? You're going to spend two years proving that you're an actual victim of fraud. You have a police report, you have f a d, we do have all that stuff. But still, no, we're not going to remove it. You're not a victim. We don't care go away. Well, so what do you do? If you look up CFPB complaints. If you look up lawsuits, you're gonna see that the Bureau's are being sued specifically right now TransUnion the Bureau's are being sued left and right, because they're not doing their jobs. And guess what so many clients of mine, so many consumers, so many people I speak with? Don't understand that. And the one thing I want for you to understand is that the FCRA was enacted, because the Bureau's don't do their job. It's not it's not there, because the Bureau's do do their job. It's not there, because they respond to all their disputes. It's not there, because they respond to the CFPB complaints. It's not there because they remove the negative items that are associated with fraud and all of that within four business days. No, it's there. Because of the abuse of the industry. It's there because the Bureau's don't do their job. So when they are saying we're not going to remove it, you have to keep on when they say Oh, well guess what? Tough cookies, you have to keep disputing. You need to actually go change your process. You need to make more complaints. You need to submit more disputes, and eventually not two years, but eventually you are going to get your negative items removed. Now what if you're not a victim of identity theft? What if you're just trying to remove inaccuracies, inaccuracies off your credit report and the Bureau's are not responding? Well, there's a very specific simple thing that you should be doing or looking for. And I have another video that explains this, but I'll just make it simple. Now, but a actual true credit sweep is that we're not waiting for the Bureau's the creditors or the collectors to do anything. We take everything directly from the credit report. I know when something's actually been investigated, because the date last reported will change. Okay, so what about everyone's favorite one that if there's no response within 30 days that the bureaus have to remove your disputed account? Does that actually happen? No, it doesn't happen. In fact, just as I mentioned, 1000s and 1000s of CFPB complaints, were not even responded to only 2%. And that's down from the 25% of the prior year. Right? And that's not including the 1000s of suits, and there's no way to prove that they didn't respond. So let me ask you a question. Would you rather go around in circles trying to prove that the bureaus didn't respond and that you know, you this and the third, or would you rather, like hone in on the actual information that they're reporting find the inaccuracies in the violations and go after those with a proven powerful formula and get them removed?
I personally don't want to waste time I personally don't always my clients time and so I personally We go after the inaccuracies in the violations. And eventually they do their job. Because they do them around one, probably not most of the time. They don't. Because remember, they're not in the business of helping you. They're in the business of making money. And they make money by not removing your negative items, right? And I know that there's going to be like, you know, a bunch of people that watch this and say, Oh, well, they're required to remove it in 30 days if they don't respond and bow. Okay, well, why are you watching this video, then if you dispute it, and they didn't respond? Why is the negative item stolen there? And no, I'm not hating, okay. I'm not doing any of that. I'm talking about facts. And I've been doing this for 10 years, I've been on YouTube for seven years, I have 800 videos that break down and explain exactly how to do it the right way. And if you don't understand how to do this, and how the process works, you're not going to get these things off. So what do you do when you dispute and there's no response? Do you just give up like you they want you to? Or do you pull a new credit report, find the new information, create a new dispute? And back it up with the facts of the credit report? Oh, well, gee, I would have to say that you should probably find the new and relevant information and send a new dispute. How about when they say, well, we didn't receive a dispute from you and actually dealt with this one today? We didn't receive a dispute from you. Well, okay. So does that mean you're not sending out the disputes? Absolutely not. In fact, and this is another thing that was brought up during this conversation that I had today with this person. She said, she actually sent it certified with return receipt, it was signed and sent back. And then TransUnion actually said, Well, we didn't get a dispute from you. Well, that's funny, because I have it right here where it says that you did. So what's going on? Oh, you mean that? Yeah, I mean that. Okay. So even when you have the proof, even when you know, all of that there's you're still going to run into issues, okay. So just because there's an existence of a law doesn't mean that they actually follow it. They actually deal with these laws, because we're not dealing with criminal law. We're dealing with a totally different part of the umbrella here, okay. No one's going to jail. No one's getting in trouble. No one's losing their job. And the only way to fight back is to fight back and to continue with your due process because your due process is to dispute and get removed the inaccurate information off your credit report. It doesn't say overnight, it doesn't say in 30 days. It doesn't say in any specific time period. It says your due process is to send this in and within a timely fashion. It's going to be removed and
