Video notes: Removing late payments: You’ll want to say: I've never been late, update to update to paid as agreed, because remember, you want to force them to do an investigation and they're not going to be able to prove that you were because the only legal form of verification for a late payment is for them to actually provide the bank statement belonging to the bank when your payment was actually accepted into their account. And they're never going to do that. Because of this, it can't be verified. You’ll only want to dispute one or two late payments at a time Do not dispute 3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10; it is not worth it. If you have 10 late payments, that whole account needs to come off. Don't even bother with it. Removing debt buyer collections: To remove a collection, you’ll say: Why is there a past due on a collection? Remove it immediately. Because remember, with a collection, I don't care what type of collection, there should be #1 no past due. #2 no late payments, because it's a collection. And by default, a collection is late. A collection is past due. So, it's actually a violation of the FDCPA for those two things to be on there. Just remember that because you're going to run into issues removing portfolio recovery and all of that and simply telling them that they need to remove it because you have no contract with them is not the way that you're going to get it off. Because you're not going to have a contract with a collection agency, I don't care who the heck they are. Okay. So be easy on this, do it without a hassle for yourself, stop going back and forth with them and just find what doesn't belong. If you go back to my videos on the FDCPA violations, you're going to see that one of those violations, I think it's towards the end of the video is past due in late payments on a collection. How to remove negative accounts from your credit report: So when we're talking about inaccuracy, we're not talking about whether you owe money. We're not talking about whether that account is valid, because it says that you owe $100. And you actually owe $100, okay, when you dispute something you want to look for the reason it does not belong on there, it is as simple as that. If you cannot find something that's completely different, you're looking at the wrong site. Using the validation of debt method: So when you're disputing using the validation of debt method, please don't forget that you also need to dispute with the Bureau's if you don't, it's going to be much longer and you're not going to get the results that you want. And make sure that you're not only disputing with the Bureau's you also need to dispute with the collection agencies. *I may receive compensation for external links, such as IdentityIQ

Tips for my brokers; Craigslist, Facebook, websites, advertising and more!

I work 90% with brokers, 10% with clients, and I actually prefer to work with brokers, as I have contact with only one person instead of 300 clients. So considering there are 528 of you brokers, I figured that I would post some tips and tricks for my brokers. I will break it down into sections to make it easier reading, and if you have any questions, comments or suggestions, let me know! Advertising Advertising can be a serious pain in the butt, and it is utterly necessary for a business like this one. I will give you a couple of suggestions that work for me. I am mostly just word of mouth now and do not need to advertise, as I have thousands of clients, but there are days when I do put my business out there again for new clients. Craigslist It is quite difficult to advertise with CL now, but there are tons of ways to get around being flagged or to prevent it from happening. CL is the 4th most visited site in the  world , so that right there should tell you that you need...

3 Resons why you should wait to apply for new credit

Applying for new credit before all derogatory items are deleted: My advice to my clients is always the same: wait until you're done with your credit repair or credit sweep program, but have a strategy to move forward from there. Here's a few reasons why: #1 you may be denied if you still have 1-2 items remaning and will end up with new inquiries that will drop your score #2 it may hinder the process of removing the last few items and can add 1-3 months to the timeframe #3 you may be approved with a very low limit and would have to wait 3-5 months prior to requesting an increase. In comparison, you can wait til everything has been completed and obtain a higher limit right off the bat. Here's a real-life example: I have a client would only has 4/86 negative items remaining and he wanted to move forward with his mortgage. I advised him to wait because (see #1) it would add inquiries and he may not be approved. He'd mentioned tha...
