How to Remove Unknown Collections Using FCRA 623 Violations | Credit Sweep

Today we're going over how to use fcra section 623 violations to remove unknown collections from a credit report for failure to enter identifying information and an address. This is a violation of FCRA 623, which states that an account cannot report with known errors UNLESS there's an address to dispute conspicuously listed on the credit report. I show you what an incorrectly reported collection looks like, as well as one reported accurately with an address that would otherwise need to be disputed using a different tactic. I also show you what the dispute reason might look like for a case like this. FCRA 623 states that an address does NOT have to be reported if there are no errors and that the account has not been disputed before (from my understanding of it), but that if there's been a confirmation of errors or known errors, or the account MIGHT be reported in error, an address must be reported. Confusing, right?
